Spider and Vericose Veins
Specializing in vascular anomalies as a pediatric interventional radiolgist is what lead Dr. Bogan to expand her treatment techniques into laser therapy. This treatment uses very focused light energy to destroy spider veins which disappear almost immediately without incisions, needles, surgery, or downtime. Sclerotherapy, which is Dr. Bogan's favorite procedure to perform, involves injecting a medicine into those slightly larger vericose type veins which would otherwise be untreatable by surface laser ablation and still requires minimal downtime and quick recovery.
